5. Stretch it Out
Make sure to stretch out before you exercise to warm up your muscles and prevent injury. When you are done exercising, stretch again to cool down and keep your muscles from tightening up.
You can find great stretching instruction on the Internet, or you can ask your doctor for suggested stretching activities. You should stretch your core muscles along with your limbs; this will help to reduce any soreness in your muscles as you begin your exercise routine.
